Barnegat Bay Information
 As stewards of Barnegat Bay, Ocean County has and will continue its ongoing efforts to preserve and protect this watershed.
The following is information on the many steps taken by the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders to protect Barnegat Bay. Actions by Ocean County have been ongoing for many years, including upgrades to drainage systems, improved stormwater quality management programs, natural lands purchases, and a host of other programs including award winning programs and programs that have been used as models by the state relating directly to protecting the watershed.
