Security Guards patrol all of the County Parks and County owned Golf Courses in Ocean County as well as properties purchased by the County as part of the Natural Land Trust Fund. The County’s Parks and Recreational facilities are models for other counties throughout the state and our Guards are proud to serve Ocean County and its residents in the park system.
County Security also patrols other County facilities such as, The Ocean County Government Complex in Toms River, The Fire & First Aid Training Center in Waretown, Northern & Southern Recycling Centers, Northern Resource Center in Lakewood and Southern Resource Center in Manahawkin as well as the County Garages.
The growth of Ocean County has necessitated expansion of the County Complex in Toms River as well as county garages, storage buildings, transportation and related service facilities. All of these are patrolled by The Ocean County Security Department.
The Ocean County Security Department recognizes the County Security Guard to be its principal contact with the park/county visitor.
As such, the Security Guard conveys a professional attitude and demeanor at all times and in all situations by following established rules of conduct.
