June Brandes Chu’s

June Brandes Chu’s long and distinguished nursing career with the Ocean County Department of Juvenile Services began in 1988. She joined our staff as a part-time registered nurse. Ms. Chu has remained part-time through the years since she is the mother of four children and continues to work with her husband, Dr. Tun Chu in his medical practice in Toms River.

Tina Daniel began her career with the Ocean County Department of Juvenile Services in 1988, where she was among the first graduating class of Juvenile Detention Officers from the Officers Training Academy in Trenton, New Jersey.

Pat Kielt

Pat Kielt began his career with the Ocean County Department of Juvenile Services in 1986 as a Juvenile Detention Officer. He graduated from the Corrections Officers Training Academy (CODA) in 1989. Promoted to Senior Detention Officer in 1991, Pat earned another promotion to Supervising Detention Officer in 1999.

Rick Seitz

Rich Seitz began his career in 1984 as a Youth Group Worker in the Detention Center, doing recreation with the residents, assisting the teachers with students and helping in the newly instituted computer classroom. He pre-tested new residents in Math and Reading, and started the first computerized admission records.
