Jakes Branch Family Camp-In

Too cold to camp outside? Sleep by the fireplace inside the Jakes Branch Nature Center. We will start with a short night hike and then warm up by the fire. Nature games and crafts will engage the whole family, and we will finish off the night with a nature movie.

Please bring your own snacks and "camping" gear. A light breakfast will be provided.

The Department of Parks & Recreation now safeguards more than four thousand acres of land which is dedicated to the enjoyment of our citizens and the conservation of open space.

This impressive acreage includes sixteen parks, four conservation areas, and two golf courses. Four more outstanding facilities in Barnegat, Beachwood, and Brick are presently on the drawing boards.
