Gentle Yoga class

Join us for this class teaching the basics of Yoga. This class is designed for any one new to Yoga and well as those with experience. Exercise, mediation and breathing are key components of this practice. Come give it a try, it's a good thing. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Cattus Island Nature Festival

The Cattus Island Nature Festival will take place on October 5th. The festival offers a taste of all of the programs Cattus Island Park runs throughout the year. Environmental organizations from all around the state will be available to provide information regarding a wide range of topics including Boat Tours, Van Tours, Nature Walks, Crafts, and Games. Ocean County Park Beach closed for the season

Due to a lifeguard shortage, the beach at Ocean County Park is closed for the season starting 8/28.

Berkeley Island County Park

The crabbing and fishing pier will remain open through Columbus Day. The park will be closed starting October 14, 2014 for reconstruction, The picnic area, pavilion, playground and swimming beach remain closed

Disk Golf Course expands to 18-holes!

The Ocean County Disc Golf Course was opened in 2013 as a cooperative project between Ocean County Disc Golf and the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation. The course utilizes the open fields and forests of beautiful Ocean County Park. Beginning in August 2014, The course has been expanded to 18-holes. Please Check back shortly for the updated map.

Barnegat Light Campfire

Volunteers Wanted

Volunteers are needed to staff our newest addition - Mantoloking Bridge County Park in Brick. Volunteers will answer questions, distribute information and run outdoor education programs. If you are interested please call Christopher Claus at 732-270-6960. Training will be provided.
