Living Well - Women's Health Week
TOMS RIVER - In recognition of National Women's Health Week, May 12 through 18, the Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women joins with Community Medical Center, here, to present the free Living Well Women's Health Week program.
The program is scheduled to run from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, at The Clarion, Route 37 West, here.
"This free program, in honor of National Women's Health Week, is an evening for women and their friends to celebrate health and wellness," said Freeholder Deputy Director James F. Lacey, who serves as liaison to the Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women.
Lacey noted the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders will proclaim the week National Women's Health Week in Ocean County.
"The freeholders deeply appreciate the work of the women's commission and its partners in highlighting the importance of women's health," Lacey said.
The evening will include physician lectures from 6 to 7 p.m. and screenings and a health fair from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and again at 7 to 8 p.m.
