Ocean County Recycling Education Center
The County's Recycling Education Center is located at the Northern Recycling Center in Lakewood Township adjacent to the County's Recyclable Materials Processing Facility (MPF).
The Center is used to provide presentations about the MPF to visitors prior to their tour of the facility.
A scale model of the MPF is also on display at the Center to provide visitors with a comprehensive look at the operations of the MPF.
The Center is also used for other various functions such as meetings, recycling and composting classes, workshops, and other related environmental events.
