Ocean County Recyclable Materials Processing Facility
The County’s Processing Facility accepts glass containers, aluminum and tin cans, newspapers, mixed paper, plastic beverage containers, aerosol cans and residential/commercial cardboard from municipal, commercial and private haulers. It is located at the Ocean County Northern Recycling Center in Lakewood Township.

The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Group tours are available for the County's Recycling Facility. For tour information, please contact Mary Jerkowicz at the Department of Solid Waste Management at 732-506-5047.
