Needles, Syringes and Proper Disposal of Household Medication
Do not set out with recyclables!
In order to dispose of needles and syringes please contact your local hospital to see if they have a collection program.
Also, check with your local pharmacy to see if they participate in the Blue Needle Box Program, which provides residents with proper way to safely dispose of needles and syringes.
Currently, Seaside Heights, Lacey, Manchester and Toms River Police Departments are serving as permanent resident drop-off locations for any unused, unwanted or expired medication. Their addresses and contact information is as follows:
