LEAVES, BRUSH AND VEGETATIVE WASTE


Ocean County Recycling Centers accept leaves and light brush from residents and landscapers.

Unbagged leaves are accepted at both the Northern and Southern Recycling Centers.

Brush is accepted at either Center, 4 inches in diameter or less.

Construction wood and stumps are not accepted.

Saturdays are for residental material only. No material from landscapers or municipalities shall be accepted on Saturdays.

Compost and wood chips are available free of charge to Ocean County residents and municipalities. Residents picking up compost and wood chips at the Northern Recycling Center must use the South Oberlin Avenue entrance. Residential pick-up of this material is limited to one pickup truck or single-axle trailer-sized load.
