Timothy G. Hart, Division Director has overall responsibility for Cultural & Heritage division: developing and overseeing cultural and agency strategic planning,
arts and heritage programs and services, budgeting, the Out & About newsletter and staff. He is the both the Ocean County (2012) and Stafford Township (2006) historian.
He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Rutgers Law School - Camden and he is a member of the New Jersey Bar. Mr. Hart is active in many cultural organizations including:
the League of NJ Historical Societies, South Jersey Cultural Alliance, Advocates for NJ History and theAmerican Association of State and Local History.
Nicholas Wood, Program Development Specialist, is responsible for administering the regrant programs, database management, assisting with the Teen Arts Festival and other programs,
and providing direct technical assistance. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and the Coopertown Graduate Program. Prior to his appointment with the Commission, Mr. Wood worked
for the Jersey Shore Folklife Center at Tuckerton Seaport.
Kim Fleischer, part-time office manager, is responsible for maintaining the Commission’s financial records and is an essential member of the publication and programming teams.
She is active with local art and history groups.
Donna Malfitano, full-time secretary, is responsible for numerous clerical duties at the Commission. She performs clerical work requiring experience and familiarity
with the organization's procedures and rules. She has a passion for art and the study of local history.
Samantha Stokes, part-time Special Project Assistant, facilitates numerous office tasks including archival research, file digitization, and public programs.
She majored in History at Georgian Court University and is active in Lakewood’s vibrant multicultural community.
