All
visitors will be required to register for visiting at the Public Information
Office

Visitors
will be required to properly identify themselves with a government issued
identification including drivers license, passport, photo id, or birth
certificate. Visitors under 18 must present a government issued photo ID.

Visitors
must register on the Inmate Visitor Registration Sheet giving the following
information:

Full Name
2.
Address
3.
Inmates name and
relationship to inmate

All
visitors are subject to search prior to entering the visiting area.

Visitors must
be here and signed up to see the inmate in enough time to be able to complete
the visit before visiting hours terminate. This must also take into
consideration any waiting time that may be involved. Visiting times will end
on schedule.

The time and
date the visitor commences the visit shall be recorded in the visitation log
by the officer in the visiting area.

At the
termination time of the visit, the officer shall enter the time on the
visitation log.

There are no
rest room facilities available on the first floor visitor reception area or in
the secured area of the jail.
-
During visiting hours, cash
and money orders may be deposited into an inmate's account at the Public
Information Office.
-
No personal
items may be brought into the visiting area including jewelry, women’s purses,
outwear, etc. Lockers are provided to secure personal effects during
visits.

No weapons or
contraband such as (CDS) will be permitted inside security.
Discovery of any of the above items
will not be ignored and an appropriate decision will be made by the
Officer-in-Charge on how the matter will be handled.

Visitors must
comply with all instructions from jail staff. Any incident of disrespect will
result in denial of the visit. Reports and/or log entries of the incident
must follow if such an incident occurs.

Smoking is
prohibited by anyone during the visiting process.

Alcoholic
beverages and food will not be brought into the jail.

All visitors
will present themselves in a manner so as to not overtly offend other visitors
by abuses of language, inappropriate actions, or attire.

Visitors will
restrict booth entry to one adult at a time. Small children in need of
supervision will be viewed as an exception and the children must be closely
supervised by the parent or guardian at all times.

Minors must be
accompanied by an adult of association.

The Public
Information Officer must report any conduct or problems observed in the first
floor visiting area to the OIC. No person or group of visitors will interfere
with the overall institution objective of the smooth and orderly running of
the visiting process. Both the conduct and size of the group are issues to be
considered.

A visit may be
terminated at any time by the OIC whenever the conduct of the visitor or the
inmate is not conductive to the security, tranquility, and good order of the
facility or when it would be appropriate to do so under guidelines established
in the institution general emergency procedures.

Adjustments to
established regulations should be left to the discretion of the OIC.
-
Former inmates
of this facility shall not be allowed a non-contact visit for at least one
year after their release date. Persons who have been incarcerated in this
facility shall not be allowed a contact visit under any circumstances
regardless of when they were incarcerated. Extraordinary circumstances may be
appealed to the Warden for reconsideration in these cases.

Persons who
have been incarcerated in any state prison facility shall not be allowed to
visit in this institution for at least one year after their release date. Any
person who has served state prison time shall not be permitted a contact visit
in this facility.
