The Institutional Services Unit is comprised of the following sections, and
falls under the command of
Dir. Arthur
Van Ness
The Food Service Section served 619,141 meals in 2008. We serve 3 meals daily,
based on a 4 week rotating menu that is review by a registered dietitian every 6
months. With a average caloric count of 3,500, the menu exceeds all
nutritional requirements.
The Laundry Section is responsible for supplying clean uniforms twice a week. We
also supply clean sheets, towels, and blankets. Twice weekly we wash and dry any
personal items.
The Commissary Section offers over 300 items. We have clothing, sneakers,
snacks, juices, soda, candy, all hygiene items etc. Orders are due on Monday
morning, scanned, then delivered on Wednesday.
