Information Technology : System Development & Support
The mission of the Information Technology Department is to plan, manage, and support Ocean County Government's information resources.
The System Development and Support Unit of the Information Technology department primary functions include the support of software on multiple platforms and the development of systems to solve business units needs.

Our Information Technology Department supports almost all of Ocean County's business functions. These services include Personnel, Purchasing, Fiscal Operations, Budget, Facilities and Fleet Management, Land Records Management, Surrogates System Administration, Adjusters System Administration, Law Enforcement System Support, Jail Management System Support, Communications Management and other department specific applications. The efficiencies achieved through the electronic processing of the County's business transactions benefit employees, management and the citizenry.

Our vision for new development includes utilizing the new technology that provides for platform independent software. Our Goal is to provide our users access to databases whether it's remotely or local with e-Business solutions.
