Local artifacts, documents, maps and photographs are displayed. Of particular interest is the exclusive
exhibit of memorabilia from the personal collection of New Egypt's famous harness racing driver Stanley Danor.
The New Egypt Museum
is located in a farmhouse dating to 1825. Old-timers here have always called it
the Singleton Farm. The Historical Society is still researching the origins,
however, they have found that the house and approximately 150 acres originated
with the Singleton Family up to 1965.
