The Stafford Township Historical Society maintains four historic buildings and two cemetaries: the Manahawkin Old Baptist Church, the Old Stone Store, Manahawkin Railroad Station, Cavalry Cottage, the Baptist Cemetary, and the Methodist Cemetary.

The Manahawkin Old Baptist Church functioned as the school, town hall, and pulpit for circuit riders of any denomination.

According to local tradition, Cavalry Cottage may be the oldest existing home in Stafford Township!

Annual events inclide Summer Concert Series, Battle of Cedar Bridge, Christmas Radio Show, the annual Fundraising Dinner.
