Bay Head Borough - Bay Head Junction

Bay Head Junction was a busy place at the turn of the twentieth century when trains brought visitors and mail from New York City and Philadelphia. The trains transported boats built at Hubert Johnson's Boat Yard to distant markets. The steam engines have been replaced by diesel and electric engines, and the line to Philadelphia has been discontinued. Bay Head Junction now serves as a turn-around point for New York bound trains.
