Beachwood Borough - A Real Newspaper Town

In 1914, the New York Tribune newspaper ran an advertisement selling a plot of land in beautiful Beachwood with each subscription to the newspaper. By 1916, the borough, located on the south side of the Toms River, had a yacht club, a bath house, an auditorium, and sailboat races. The railroads brought vacationers to Beachwood.
