Situated
on a scenic peninsula jutting out into the 
calm waters of Barnegat Bay, Berkeley Island County
Park's location provides possibly the best view of the
Bay in Ocean County. It also features a family-oriented beach, complete
with warm sand and protected bay bathing. The crabbing/fishing pier at
the park is one of the County's most popular. Bring a picnic lunch and
spend the day sunning, swimming, or crabbing from the 100' pier. Berkeley Island
County Park is also the park location for the Annual Beach Bash.
Facilities:
Crabbing, fishing, handicapped accessible, horseshoes, picnic area, grills, playground, restrooms, swimming, covered pavilion. Reserved picnic areas available (fee)(limit 75 persons).
Directions:
From the North: Garden State Parkway South to Exit 77, end of exit ramp, make left on to Double Trouble Road. Make first left at light onto Pinewald-Keswick Road/County Road 618. Follow C.R. 618 across Route 9 onto Butler Blvd. Make a right onto Bayview Avenue and then left onto Brennan Concourse. Park straight 1/2 mile.
From the South: Garden State Parkway North to Exit 77, end of exit ramp, make right onto Pinewald-Keswick Road/County Road 618. Follow C.R. 618 across Route 9 onto Butler Blvd. Make a right onto Bayview Avenue and then left onto Brennan Concourse. Park straight 1/2 mile.
