Basic Telecommunicator and Emergency Medical Dispatch Course

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office is holding a Public Safety Telecommunicator Course.

The Basic Telecommunicator, CPR, and Emergency Medical Dispatch course will start on Monday, July 26th, 2021 and end on August 18th, 2021. If successfully completed, these classes provide one with the certifications needed to become a 911 Pubic Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher.

The cost of the course will be $250.00. Seating is limited to 30 students. The closing date for registering is Wednesday, July 21st @ 1600 hrs.

Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy

Michael G. Mastronardy brings 40 years of law enforcement experience to the Sheriff's Office. Having worked his way up the ranks of the Toms River Police Department, Mastronardy was named Chief of the Department in November 1992. He served as Chief for 22 years until his retirement December 31, 2013.
