The Ocean County Jail has regularly earned a ‘Certificate of Compliance’ from the New Jersey Department of Corrections in recognition of attaining full compliance with the requirements of the Manual of Standards for New Jersey Adult County Correctional Facilities.
On August 25, 2017 the Ocean County Department of Corrections received notice from the New Jersey Department of Corrections that we had achieved 100% compliance with the Manual of Standards.New Jersey Human Resource Development Institute - Certified Public ManagersThe Certified Public Manager Program is part of a national effort to develop effective management skills through training and education of supervisors and managers in State and local government, including those in the law and public safety community.
In New Jersey, the CPM Program is administered by the New Jersey Department of Personnel's Human Resource Development Institute. The mission of the program is to empower participants to become more effective, efficient and ethical organizational managers.
