Road Opening Permits are required for all work performed within an Ocean County right-of-way (ROW) or easement. This work includes, but is not limited to, installation and/or repair of: underground utilities; overhead utilities; driveways; curbs; sidewalks; utility poles; and any other permanent structures or features. A permit is also required for any work that tunnels, bores, or directional drills under the County ROW, regardless of the point of origin and/or termination.
