You can register to vote if you are:
  • a U.S. citizen
  • at least 18 years of age by election day
  • a resident of New Jersey and Ocean County at least 30 days before the election

Note: In New Jersey, any person not serving a sentence of incarnation as the result of a conviction of any indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or of the United States can register to vote.

PRIMARY ELECTIONS ONLY:
A registered voter currently affiliated with a political party who wishes to change their party affiliation must file a Political Party Affiliation Declaration Form 55 days before a Primary Election.

A registered voter currently not affiliated with a political party may declare their party affiliation up to and including Primary Election day.

If a voter wishes to change party affiliation or become an
