New Grant Opportunities

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
Organizations/Agencies that provide or intend to provide transportation service for senior citizens and/or individuals with disabilities are eligible to apply for a transportation grant. Applicants must be non-profit, tax-exempt organizations (with 501(c)(3) IRS designation) and include a copy of the Federal tax-exempt status.

The Ocean County Transportation Department is pleased to announce that Ocean County is transitioning to OpenGov as its official web-based platform for managing grant opportunities. This transition moves the County to a fully centralized, electronic grants management system designed to improve transparency, communication, and ease of use for applicants.

As part of this transition, all grant notifications, updates, and application materials will be communicated through OpenGov. Interested organizations are strongly encouraged to register on Ocean County’s OpenGov Grants Portal to ensure continued access to current and future grant opportunities.

The OpenGov Grants Portal allows users to:

• Register to receive notifications of grant opportunities issued by Ocean County
• View active and upcoming grant opportunities in one centralized location
• Receive automatic updates, amendments, and communications related to grant opportunities you follow or apply for
• Complete and submit grant applications electronically through a guided, user-friendly process to help ensure accuracy and completeness
Once registered, OpenGov will send a confirmation email to activate your account. Additional registration guidance and support resources are available directly within the OpenGov platform. If you have questions regarding this transition or the registration process, please contact the Ocean County Purchasing Department at (732) 929-2101 or ocpurchasing@co.ocean.nj.us.
