TOMS RIVER – In relation to the work being performed on the Ocean County Justice Complex annex located in the County Seat of downtown Toms River, JCP&L has scheduled a power shutdown for Saturday, May 3, 2025 (with Sunday, May 4 as a backup if needed) for the following Ocean County Government Buildings:
- 100 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Courts - 114 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Jail - 120 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Justice Complex - 129 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Engineering, Planning, Roads and Solid Waste Management Departments and the Ocean County Board of Elections - 119 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Prosecutor's Office - 101 Hooper Avenue – Ocean County Administration Building
Power is expected to be terminated between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Saturday, with service resuming approximately eight hours later.
Please note that these times are subject to field conditions and may change accordingly.
The Ocean County Board of Commissioners advises residents to be aware of the power shutdown and use caution in the area.
