NOTICE TO BIDDERS |
Ocean County will receive bids 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in the Administration Building, Toms River, NJ for Reconstruction and Resurfacing of Portions of Certain County Roads, Contract 2024C, Various Townships. Plans and specs are available on the County''s OpenGov Electronic Bid Portal (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/oceancounty). Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 and 10% Surety required. Mark F. Jehnke, Ocean County Engineer.
The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the milling and resurfacing of 4.26 miles of roads in the Townships of Brick, Jackson, Lakewood, and Toms River. Also included in this Contract is the replacement of deteriorated drainage pipe using Ductile Iron Pipe and Reinforced Concrete Pipe; the reconstruction of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, and ADA curb ramps; and the installation of detectable warning surfaces, curb pieces, bicycle safe grates, and traffic stripes and markings. Estimated construction cost range: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00
