OCEAN COUNTY CONSORTIUM
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Ocean County invites the public to the CAPER Public Hearing #4, where attendees can review and comment on the progress and outcomes of activities, funding priorities, and community engagement strategies. These relate to housing, infrastructure, and community development under the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships programs, which aim to address local needs and support low- and moderate-income residents.

Public Review and Comment
The draft FY 2026 Consolidated Action Performance and Evaluation Report and related documents, including the meeting schedule and timeline, are available for public review using the following methods:

The 15-day public comment period runs from August 27, 2026 - September 11, 2026. The public has the opportunity to submit comments until Friday, September 11, 2026 (see methods above for details).

Public Hearing Details
The County will hold the in-person and virtually to ensure broad public access.

Submission to HUD
Ocean County will submit the finalized Plans on or about Friday, September 25, 2026 to HUD. The County will review all public feedback received during the comment periods and incorporate it as appropriate.
