The Ocean County Board of Commissioners announces the availability of funding for Youth Employment Activities. Effective October 1, 2026, the Ocean County Workforce Development Board has funds available for the provisions of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded Youth Employment Activities, in coordination with One Stop Career Center partners.
Youth Employment Activities are supported with funds from the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), totaling $500,000.00. 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources.
Funds may not be used to supplant or replace existing funds or other resources from federal, state, or county government for existing workforce development programs or lot purposes of capital construction or renovation. The contract would run for the period October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with an option of up to one (1) additional 12-month period, contingent upon the successful delivery of services and funding availability.
The Request for Competitive Contracting (RFCC) are available on the Ocean County Procurement Portal Website: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/oceancountyand available for viewing purposes at the Purchasing Department at (732) 929-2101.
All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM prevailing time on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The County will not be responsible for late submissions and no proposals will be accepted after the time stipulated in this notice.
Questions about each solicitation must be submitted using the Ocean County Procurement Portal Website ( https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/oceancounty) no later than 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
