Waste Oil


Waste Oil and Oil Filters are accepted for recycling at the County's Northern and Southern Recycling Centers. Residents may drop off their waste oil at these locations during operating hours at no cost.

- There is a 5-gallon limit per resident per day.
- Waste oil cannot contain gas, water or antifreeze.

Bring your Oil to our Recycling Centers between 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
- Northern Recycling center located at 601 New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood, NJ Drop off at building 68.
- Southern Recycling Center located at 379 Haywood Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 Drop off at building 105.



Note: Waste oil is not accepted from commercial establishments, schools, or municipalities.
