There’s a new way for your family and friends to video visit online that requires a new desktop application, GTL VisBridge. Please be sure your loved ones download the new app at least 10 minutes before your next visit. A step-by-step video tutorial has been posted on their visitor log in page to help guide them through the download process.

Please Note: This new application is only for visitors using a desktop or laptop. Mobile visitors can still use the current GTL Visits mobile app.

Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM- 12PM/ 1PM-3PM

Requirements:
- Visitors must be approved by the facility to schedule visits.
-Email address to register and schedule visits.
-Valid Photo ID for registration and at check-in.
-A computer or Andriod device with internet, camera, and speakers. A headset or earbuds are highly recommended. Visitor must be checked in with a browser that does supports Adobe Flash. Flash must be enabled on their browser. The Visit Tester walks the visitors through, to determine if their camera, mic, and audio work correctly with Flash, prior to starting visit. We suggest using Internet Explorer 11 for browser.
-All visits must be canceled 24 hours in advance.

***How to configure Google Chrome to work with internet visits:
1.Click the “lock” icon to the left of the web address, and select Site Settings.
2.Change the dropdown value next to “Flash” to ALLOW.
3.Reload/Refresh the website.
4.When prompted, select “allow” to give Google Chrome access to microphone and webcam.
Visits should connect at that point

Pursuant to the December 2021 Attorney General Guideline “Promoting Diversity in Law Enforcement Recruiting and Hiring,” the Ocean County Department of Corrections is committed to doing all that we can to hire staff who reflect the communities that we serve (see N.J.S.A.52:17B-4.10).
Ocean County Department of Corrections in full compliance with N.J.A.C.10A:31
On April 22-26, 2024, the Department of Corrections, through its office of County Services, conducted an inspection on the Ocean County Department of Corrections.

As a result of this inspection, the County of Ocean was found to be in full compliance with the requirements of N.J.A.C 10A:31.

Congratulation on this achievement and we commend our staff for efforts made in preparation for the inspection.
