The Ocean County Department of Human Services has created an Outreach and Development Initiative to strengthen community engagements. The Department is now represented at the County’s Southern Service Center in Manahawkin to strengthen our connection in the Southern portions of Ocean County. Furthermore, dedicated staff are working with local businesses to better guide the planning and implementation of the local Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act throughout Ocean. The staff involved in this Initiative are dedicated to providing resource and referral connections, understanding the needs of the community, and representing Human Services at various civic and community collaborations where information can be shared, partnerships forged and programmatic innovations achieved.
