Oxygen Tanks
Should be disposed through the company it was purchased or received from.
Empty the tanks. Leave the valve open to allow all oxygen to drain. You may also need to remove the regulator.
Take off the valve and recycle at a local scrap metal yard.

SCUBA tanks should be returned to the dive shop, tank supplier or place of purchase.
