Ocean County accepts specific rigid plastics at the Northern and Southern Recycling Centers, this program is looking for oversized items, and usually has a #5 recyling symbol. Accepted Buckets - Milk crates - Cat Litter Containers - Laundry baskets - Lawn furniture - Landscape & microwave trays -Totes (Any Size) - Toys & playhouses - Pallets - Empty garbage cans (any size) - Bed liners (from trucks). Not AcceptedPVC - Vinyl Sidin - Styrofoam - Coolers - Flexible Water Hoses - Plastic Shelving - Medical waste - Dish Drains - Oil/Chemical containers - Plastic drums (any size) - Car seats - Pet carriers - Plastic closet organizers.
